Dropping $1,000 Like It’s Hot (…Into the Hands of Actual Heroes)

You know that moment when you’re scrolling through the chaos of life, wondering if you can really justify a second iced tea or a Starbucks before noon—and then you remember there are people out there voluntarily running into burning buildings? Yeah. That puts things in perspective.

So today, we’re doing something that actually matters:

We’re giving a $1,000 sponsorship to the Libertytown Volunteer Fire Company in support of their first responder initiatives and community educational programs.

Why?

Because while most of us panic when the smoke alarm beeps from low batteries, these folks gear up, roll out, and keep the rest of us alive. And also because community safety → good. Fire → bad. Pretty simple math.

This sponsorship will help support:

  • First responder readiness (aka fueling the real-life superheroes)

  • Educational programs (teaching people what not to do with candles, space heaters, and deep fryers)

  • Community outreach (because knowledge saves lives—also sometimes snacks are involved, which we fully support

We’re honored to contribute and hope this sparks even more support for our local emergency teams. If you’ve ever been saved, assisted, trained, or reassured by a firefighter or EMT in Libertytown, consider giving back too—money, time, baked goods, emotional support, whatever you’ve got.

Stay safe, stay grateful, and maybe check your smoke detectors while you’re here.
