Charter Arms & the foundation forge a new path!
There’s some back history here: as a family, we met Charter Arms President and Patriarch, Nick Ecker years ago at another local show.
Instant fame! It’s always a treat to meet the founders and family of a company in this industry. We talked about the products, we’ve carried them for awhile now, but the best part was next.
Nick saw one of our daughters there at the show- and shipped out a pink Charter Arms sweatshirt care package for her and told us about their family business. We were new then, and he treated us like we were part of the inner circle.
Fast forward to today: we have crossed paths on occasion and we still carry Charter in the store. I caught Nick in between new customers at ROTR and caught up on family, laughed about the old sweatshirt that’s still hanging in there and told him about how we are growing a new foundation.
Nick asked if we needed money or a gun…I told him I’m not turning down either one, but the idea is to promote product, companies, brands and family businesses- while raising money toward our mission…in about a 3 second debate, maybe less, we all agreed on a gun- Manufacturer’s choice!
We are so happy to have the Charter brand and family on board, and look forward to sharing their donations with you when they arrive!
